Terms and Conditions

The Stir it! Team cannot be held responsible for the loss or damage of personal property. We do not assume liability for injuries that participants may sustain during the dance festival. Insurance is the responsibility of the participants. We ask you to take care of yourselves – everyone knows their own physical limits best.
We reserve the right to deny entry to participants if we believe that their presence may make others feel threatened or if the dance code is not respected.

Last-Minute Cancellations / Refunds / Ticket Transfer
If you unexpectedly need to cancel your participation in Stir it!, we can refund 50% of the participation costs (excluding the transfer fee) until October 31. After this deadline, no refunds will be issued.
If you are unable to attend the festival, you can transfer your ticket to someone else. Please note the following:
– The ticket recipient must have a Stir it! Account
– Only the entire ticket can be transferred, meaning all ticket contents (such as dance role (Follow/Lead/Switch), add-ons, meal registrations, etc.) will be transferred
– The payment for the ticket transfer must be organized independently
If you have found a suitable replacement, please inform us via email at registration@stirit.ch before the start of the dance festival.

Waiting Lists
To keep the balance of dance roles (Leads and Follows) at the festival as even as possible, registrations will not be confirmed until there are at least as many registrations for the opposite role. Unconfirmed registrations will be placed on waiting lists and will be confirmed for the festival as soon as the balance is achieved. You will be informed by email as soon as your registration is confirmed.
No waiting lists will be maintained for sold-out tickets.

Registration with a Partner
If you wish to register with a partner, you can indicate this in the registration form. For partner registrations:
– Both partners must register individually and sign up for the festival.
– The selected passes of both registrations must match.
– The dance roles must correspond (i.e., Follow (or Switch) and Lead (or Switch)). Only then will both registrations be admitted to the festival. The first registration will be placed on a waiting list until the second registration is received and meets the above requirements. Payment is made per registration.

Photo/Video Material
By participating in Stir it!, you give us permission to use and publish photo and video material from this year’s dance festival, in which you and your dance partner may be visible, for our purposes. We will not pass this material on to third parties and will not derive any direct financial benefit from it.
